Master of Economics Overview

The Master's in Economics program aims to provide a rigorous, integrated academic training to produce passionate world leaders who are armed with the right mindset, professional skills and competent aptitude to make a substantial contribution to the field of Economic Studies. The curriculum equips students with a strong theoretical foundation in economics, teaching them to carry out research and analysis independently, and instructing them on the most pressing economic issues of today.

2 years/ 4 semesters/ 8 modules. 

One academic year is split into 2 semesters and each semester has 2 modules.

Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Financial Economics, International Economics, Development Economics, Institutional Economics, Industrial Economics, Public Economics, Human Resource Economics.

Tuition 60,000 RMB / year

Application requirements 
1. Must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university;

2. Must be a non-Chinese citizen with a valid passport;

3. Must have proof of English proficiency with a satisfactory TOEFL (80 and above) or IELTS (6.5 and above) score, unless you’re a native English speaker.
GMAT and GRE scores are not required, but are considered in granting admission.
