PHBS AACSB Accreditation Process
In August 2009, Peking University HSBC Business School was formally accepted as a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). After becoming a member organization, HSBC Business School began the certification process in order to receive AACSB accreditation for its graduate programs.

AACSB accreditation is an important measure in demonstrating the academic excellence of PHBS, and in assuring international applicants of the high standard upheld by Peking University. The school has already taken critical steps in meeting the AACSB academic and organizational standards for business schools, and will continue to do so in the coming years. PHBS has passed several steps in the multi-step accreditation process, and hopes to reach the AACSB standard of excellence in the next few years. As a particularly young school, PKU HSBC Business School is working quickly to build a top-tier business program from the ground up, and as a result is seeing constant improvement in teaching and program development.
